Cabbage stir fry

Ingredients :

1/2 of one piece green cabbage

2-3 medium sized carrot

Salt

Water

Procedures :

  1. Half cut a cabbage piece. Shred the 1/2 cabbage into thin slices.
  2. Put the cabbage slices to soak in vinegar in order to remove any impurities for 1 hour.
  3. Wash and rinse the cabbage.
  4. Wash 2-3 carrots, peel the outer skin and cut the carrots into thin large slices.
  5. In a pressure cooker, add oil and heat it.
  6. Stir fry the carrots.
  7. Add the cabbage slices in the cooker and cook alongside the carrots for a few minutes. Add salt. Keep stirring. After cooking for 10 minutes on low heat, add some water if necessary. The cabbage will be half cooked.
  8. Close the lid and cook the cabbage and carrot mix till tender.
  9. Open lid to check for tenderness of cabbage and allow all water to evaporate. Serve hot.
