
Ingredients :
1/2 of one piece green cabbage
2-3 medium sized carrot
Salt
Water
Procedures :
- Half cut a cabbage piece. Shred the 1/2 cabbage into thin slices.
- Put the cabbage slices to soak in vinegar in order to remove any impurities for 1 hour.
- Wash and rinse the cabbage.
- Wash 2-3 carrots, peel the outer skin and cut the carrots into thin large slices.
- In a pressure cooker, add oil and heat it.
- Stir fry the carrots.
- Add the cabbage slices in the cooker and cook alongside the carrots for a few minutes. Add salt. Keep stirring. After cooking for 10 minutes on low heat, add some water if necessary. The cabbage will be half cooked.
- Close the lid and cook the cabbage and carrot mix till tender.
- Open lid to check for tenderness of cabbage and allow all water to evaporate. Serve hot.
