Cassava with chutney

Ingredients :

2 cassava

water for boiling

salt

coriander, salt and water for coriander chutney

tomatoes, salt and water for tomato chutney

Procedures :

1.Take 2 cassava/manioc wash thoroughly and peel off the hard skin.

2. Cut the cassava into large squares and wash again.

3. Place the cassava in a pan to boil with salt for some minutes.

4. Then transfer the cassava and the hot water to a pressure cooker. Add more salt if necessary. It will be easier and take less time to be ready.

5.In some 5 whistles the cassava should be cooked.

6.Check for softness of cassava with a fork.

Enjoy with a coriander chutney or with a tomato chutney.

Coriander chutney

Blend chopped coriander leaves with some water and salt. Make a paste.

Tomato chutney

Blend some chopped tomatoes with salt and water in a blender. Make a paste.
