



Ingredients :
1 mug of self raising flour
6 tbsp cocoa powder
20g sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp butter
1 egg
1 tbsp coffee mixed with hot water
Almond flakes
Icing sugar and water
Procedures :
1.In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients using a whisk (1 cup self raising flour sieved, 5 tbsp cocoa powder, 20g sugar, 1 tbsp baking powder, 1 tbsp soft butter).
2. In a separate bowl, beat an egg.
3. Add egg to the dry ingredients.
4. Add coffee mixture and whisk again till batter is runny.
5. Grease a mould and pour in chocolate batter.
6. Preheat oven 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
7. Bake cake 180 degrees for 40 minutes approximately. Check the cooking progress from time to time till wooden stick comes out clean.
8. Demold cake when cool.
9. For cake decoration, 1 tbsp icing sugar in 2 tbsp of water. Mix water and sugar to dissolve the sugar.. With a brush apply the mixture on top of cake. Add almond flakes over.
