Fried rice with mixed vegetables

Ingredients :

1 cup of rice

2 cups of Water

1 tbsp Soy sauce (fish or mushroom flavour)

Salt to taste

½ cup of Frozen veggies – corns, peas, carrots, green beans

Procedures :

For the rice

1.Wash 1 cup of rice till the water is clear.

2. Place the 1 cup of rice with 2 cups of water to be cooked on gas stove.

3. As the rice becomes thin and long grains, the cooking is over. Strain the water. Set aside the rice and reserve.

For the stir fry vegetables.

1.Defrost the veggies – corns, peas, carrots, green beans.

2.Stir fry on medium flame all the veggies in oil and add salt to taste.

3. Add the rice gradually into the veggies and combine again on medium flame.

4. A few drops of soy sauce can be added to enhance the flavour of the fried rice.

5. Serve hot with chilli sauce or ketchup.
