Milk cake

Ingredients :

150 g milk powder farmland

70 g unsalted butter lurpak

Either 1/2 can of evaporated milk (190g) and icing sugar to taste OR 1 tin of condensed milk

coloured sesame seeds ( buy ready made or colour sesame seeds)

drops of liquid yellow food colouring

Procedures :

1.Overnight put some sesame seeds in 3 different bowls. Put yellow, red, pink food colouring to the sesame seeds and let the coloured seeds dry overnight.

2. In a pan, heat 70g unsalted butter.

3. Add the milk powder and stir.

4.Little by little add evaporated milk and sugar. Stir well and let cook on medium flame till a dough shape is achieved.

5. Add one drop of yellow food colouring and stir.

6. Cook on medium flame till the dough detach from pan.

7. Butter a square shape mould/ glassware.

8. Transfer the milk cake dough onto the glassware.

9. Sprinkle coloured sesame seeds over the milk cake.

10. Allow to cool and chill for a few hours.
