
Ingredients :
1/2 cup sprout / mung beans
4 cups water
Oil
Spices : fresh ginger paste, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, 1 pinch asoefida
Procedures :
- Wash the sprout beans and reserve.
- In a pan, heat oil in medium flame.
- Cook ginger paste, cumin seeds, turmeric powder and asoefida in oil for a few minutes.
- In a pressure cooker, add 1/2 cup sprouted beans, salt and 4 cups water. Close the lid and cook the sprouted beans till tender.
- Strain sprouted beans and reserve some water.
- Add the cooked sprouted beans in the pan with the cooked spices.
- Add water to make a soup out of the sprouted beans. Add additional salt as per your taste. Keep stirring. Serve hot the sprouted beans.
