Pani puri

Ingredients :

For the puri

1 packet of ready to fry pani puri pellets

oil

For the chutney

1 bowl of freshly grated coconut

tamarind paste dissolve in some water

Optional for tadka chutney : mint leaves, mustard seeds, curry leaves, red dry chilies, tamarind paste

Optional chutney : coriander chutney, tomato chutney, pista chutney

Procedures :

  1. Have 1 packet of ready to fry pani puri pellets from store.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Fry a few pellets on both sides till golden brown and increased in volume. Remove from oil and reserve in bowl and allow to cool.
  3. Grate a bowl of fresh coconut thinly.
  4. Dissolve tamarind paste in some water, remove seeds.
  5. In a mixer/grinder, add freshly grated coconut and tamarind water. Grind to make a soft paste. Put in bowl.
  6. Make a hole with your finger inside the puri. Add coconut chutney inside the puris. Eat the delicious pani puri with coconut chutney as inside filling.
  7. Optional for garnishing : khatta meetha rice flakes, green peas, peanuts, chickpea flour noodles (sev)
