Puri

For 16-20 puris

Ingredients :

200g white flour

200g wheat flour

6 teaspoon butter

2 tablespoon semolina

Pinch of salt or as per taste

1/2 cup of warm water approx to make dough

oil for frying

Procedures:

1.Sift 200g white flour in a bowl.

2. In the same bowl, sift another 200g of wheat flour

3. Mix and stir with a spoon.

4. Little by little add 6 teaspoon of butter and rub with flour.

5.Add a pinch of salt. Mix again.

6.Heat 1/2 cup of water till warm.

7.Little by little add 1/2 cup of warm water and make a dough soft but malleable. If dough is sticky add some more white flour. Leave the dough to rest for one hour.

8.Make small balls out of the dough.

9. Using a rolling pin and a board, flatten the puri.

10. Put oil to heat in a pan.

11. Fry both sides of the puri in hot oil.
