Rasgullas

Ingredients :

FOR DOUGH

1 cup milk powder

1 tbsp semolina

1 beaten egg or use a small quantity of egg till a dough is formed

2 tbsp plain white flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon cardamon powder

FOR SYRUP

2cups water

1 cup sugar

finely grinded cardamon

Procedures :

1.In a bow, add 1 cup of powdered milk, 1 tbsp of semolina, 2 tbsp of plain flour, 1 tsp baking powder and 1 teaspoon of cardamon powder. Mix with a spoon.

2.Beat one egg.

3.Add enough liquid egg to form a dough.

4.Make small round shaped dough.

5.Heat oil and fry the small rounded dough of rasgullas of low flame.

6.Remove once the dough has been cooked and brown in shape.

7.For the syrup, you need to boil 1 cup of white sugar with 2 cups of water, add cardamon powder and few jaffran threads.

8.Allow both the rasgullas and sugar syrup to cool.

9.Then plunge the rasgullas in the syrup for a few hours.

10.Refrigerate the rasgullas for a better taste and experience!
