Rice pudding / kheer

Ingredients :

1 cup raw rice

1 cup milk

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup almond flakes

1/4 cup nuts

1/4 cup raisins

1/2 tbspoon cardamon powder

1 tbsp pistachio

optional : mint leaves

Procedures :

1.Place the rice in a pan and add 2 or 3 cups of water.

2. Bring the rice put in water to boil and cook.

3. Continue cooking over medium heat till all water evaporates.

4.Stir the cooked rice so that it breaks into smaller pieces and become porridge like.

5. Add liquid milk and cook the rice again on low flame.

6. Add sugar, chopped almonds, fried raisins , nuts and cardamon powder.

7. Stir and cook till all milk evaporates.
