Salad octopus

Ingredients :

1 whole octopus

water for boiling

1 tomato

1 onion

some coriander leaves

some olive oil

Procedures :

  1. Wash as many times the octopus till there is no sand in the tentacles and the water is clear. Remove the head and the eyes of the octopus with a knife.
  2. Put water in a pressure cooker with the tentacles of octopus inside and boil by covering the lid. Allow 3 whistles to blow and check the octopus if cooked and smooth. If still not cook, close the lid of pressure cooker and cook for some more minutes.
  3. Once the octopus is smooth, strain the water.
  4. Now cut the octopus tentacles in small pieces. Reserve.
  5. In a bowl, take a small quantity of octopus who will use to make the salad.
  6. Dice raw tomatoes and onions.
  7. Add the tomatoes and onions to the octopus slices.
  8. Add some coriander leaves.
  9. Drizzle some olive oil!

Serve octopus salad with bread!

P.S NO SALT ADDED BECAUSE THE OCTOPUS IS ALREADY SALTY
