













Ingredients for cooking pasta only
- 1 packet of rivoire et carre spaghetti
- 1 pan 3/4 filled with water
- salt to taste
- oil 1-2 tbsp
Ingredients for pesto spinach
1 packet of spinach herbs only
50 g cashew nuts
lemon juice fresh
olive oil
Procedures :
- Start by cooking the pasta first then we cook the spinach pesto.
- In a pan, boil water. Add salt to taste and a tablespoon of oil in the pasta Once boiling point is reached, plunge spaghetti noodles in the pan and allow to cook for some 20-25 minutes or till soft.
- After the pasta has soften, remove the pan from heat and strain all the water from the spaghetti.
- Wash the spinach leaves and chop into smaller slices.
- Add a small portion of spinach leaves, add lemon juice, add some cashew nuts, add some water and drizzle olive oil in it. Grind everything in a mixer/grinder to form a paste. Repeat same process for small batch of spinach leaves to make the spinach pesto. After grinding add salt to the paste.
- In a pan, add butter. Heat it. Pour in the grinded pesto and cook over medium flame.
- Once the spinach is cooked, pour in the spaghetti and mix.
Enjoy with cheddar cheese or parmesan!
