Sweet and sour fish

Ingredients :

300 g fish boneless- i have used dory fish filet

2 eggs

1 long carrot

1 small onion

1 tbsp grated ginger

1tbsp grated Garlic

handful of corns

spring onion

pinch of salt

5 tbsp cornflour

1/4 teaspoon of black pepper powder

vinegar

2 chili sauce life brand small packets as shown in picture above

1 tbsp ketchup

6 tablespoon cornflour

1 tbsp sugar

water to make sauce

sesame seeds

oil for frying

Procedures :

  1. Wash and clean the fish filet. Cut into small portions and marinate with 2 whisked eggs, 1 tbsp vinegar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, salt, black pepper. Mix until combined. Then add 5 tbsp cornflour and mix till each fish filet is coated.
  2. In a pan, add oil and heat. Fry on medium flame all fish filet and place on cooking paper to absorb oil. Place on a plate and reserve.
  3. In another pan, heat oil and fry onions, carrots, corns, grated ginger, garlic. Cook for a few minutes. Add 1 tbsp of ketchup and 2 packets of chili sauce. Stir and cook again for a few minutes. Add some water to make a sauce and allow everything to boil.
  4. Add the already fried fish filet and pour into sauce. Cook for a few minutes, you can add some more salt and sugar to your taste if needed. Sprinkle a few spring onions over the fish filet in the pan. Cook for a few minutes. Turn off the gas and serve sweet and sour fish filet in a glassware. Sprinkle some sesame seeds.

Serve sweet and sour fish filet with bread slices.
