


Ingredients :
1 cup toor dhall
1 cup pasta shell
1 tomato
1 onion
few curry leaves
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
salt to taste
5 tbsp oil
achar/ pickle mango
tomato salad to accompany the dhall pita
Procedures :
- In a pressure cooker, heat 4-5 tablespoon of oil.
- Fry chopped onions lightly.
- Add curry leaves and fry.
- Add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste. Fry lightly
- Add chopped tomatoes and fry lightly.
- Add one cup of clean toor dhall.
- Half fill the pressure cooker with water.
- Add 1 cup of pasta.
- Add salt to taste.
- Optional : add 1 tbsp of turmeric powder.
- Close the lid of pressure cooker. After a few whistles, the dhall pita should be soft and creamy!
Serve with mango pickle or with tomato salad!
