Vegetable soup

Ingredients :

1 carrot medium

1 potato

1 thyme small stem and leaves

1/2 chayote

1/2 pumpkin

1/2 onion

water

vinegar

ginger/garlic paste

butter

salt

pinch of masala powder or halim powder

Procedures :

1. Chop all the vegetables( pumpkin, potato, carrot, chayote) in small cubes, wash thoroughly. Put in a pan of water and add some vinegar to remove impurities. Soak for 1 hour. Then drain the water and wash again the vegetables.

2. In a pan, add 1 tablespoon of butter. Fry 1/2 chopped onion. Add a tbsp of ginger/garlic paste. Fry on low heat for some minutes.

3. Add all the chopped vegetables and cook.

4. Add 1/2 pan of water and allow boiling. Cover the pan to cook. Add more water depending on the amount of soup you need. (thick soup or liquid soup) Add a pinch of masala powder or halim powder.

5.Add a thyme while boiling.

6.Add salt to taste.

7.Use a ladder to crush the vegetables.

Serve vegetable soup hot!
