White beans curry

Ingredients :

2 cups white beans

2-3 small potatoes

salt

turmeric powder

water

Procedures :

1. Soak 2 cups of white beans overnight.

2. Next day drain the water and wash the white beans again. Drain water and reserve.

3. Wash potatoes and peel off the skin. Dice the potatoes in small square shapes.

4. Put some 4 cups of water in a pressure cooker. Add salt and 2 tablespoon of turmeric powder. Stir the mixture for it to become a sauce.

5. Add the white beans and potatoes in the turmeric water. Close the lid. Cook in medium flame.

6. When the whistle blows, open lid of pressure cooker and check if potatoes and beans are soft and cooked. Optional : add coriander leaves on top of curry.

Optional : can add peas, paneer cubes along with white beans.
